Queen Elizabeth, Prince Philip, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, the Earl and Countess of Wessex, the Duke of York, Princess Anne, Timothy Lawrence and Prince Michael of Kent attended the the Remembrance Day service at the Cenotaph in London today.
The Earl and Countess of Wessex visited Sainte-Marie among the Hurons and Penetanguishene (pronounced exactly how it is spelled) in Ontario. The two towns are located on Georgian Bay, part of Simcoe County. In Penetanguishene they visited St. James-on-the-Lines Anglican Church. In Sainte-Marie among the Hurons, they toured the small settlement.
On Saturday, the Earl and Countess were in and around the Niagara area of Ontario. The Earl was in Hamilton, where he visited the armoury. The Countess was in St. Catherine’s, where she visited the Niagara College’s Niagara-on-the-Lake campus and presented new colours to the Lincoln and Welland Regiment.
