Today, Prince Daniel of Sweden celebrates his 39th birthday. The Prince was born Daniel Westling, the son of Olle and Eva Westling. He was born on September 15th, 1973, in Örebo, Sweden. The Prince was christened Olof Daniel.

Table Tennis

Prince Daniel of Sweden presented the medals at the table tennis competition today. He also greeted Swedish medalists Emil Andersson (bronze) and Anna-Carin Ahlquist (gold).

Daniel also presented medals at the 100m breaststroke.

Swedish Royals At Reception

Queen Silvia, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel attended a reception in honour of the last football game being played at Råsunda Stadium. A new stadium has been built nearby.
