Today, Princess Beatrice of York celebrates her 24th birthday. The Princess is the eldest daughter of Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, and his ex-wife, Sarah, Duchess of York. Beatrice was born on August 8th, 1988, at Portland Hospital, London. She was christened Beatrice Elizabeth Mary. Her godparents are David, Viscount Linley; the Hon. Mrs. John Grenall; the Duchess of Roxburghe, and Mrs Henry Cotterell.
