Today, the Countess of Wessex celebrates her 47th birthday. She was born Sophie Rhys-Jones, the daughter of Christopher and Mary Rhys-Jones. Sophie was born on January 20th, 1965, at the Radcliffe Infirmary, Oxford. She was christened Sophie Helen. Her godfather is Thane Bettany.
