Today, Princess Beatrice of York celebrates her 23rd birthday. The Princess is the eldest daughter of Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, and his ex-wife, Sarah, Duchess of York. Beatrice was born on August 8th, 1988 (8/8/88), at Portland Hospital, London. She was christened Beatrice Elizabeth Mary. Her godparents are David, Viscount Linley; the Hon. Mrs. John Grenall; the Duchess of Roxburghe (Lady Jane Dawnay); and Mrs Henry Cotterell.
On August 5th and 6th, Prince Joachim, Princess Marie, Prince Nikolai, and Prince Felix of Denmark attended the Copenhagen Historic Grand Prix, at Copenhagen Park. Prince Joachim raced, although it didn’t go well, and he crashed his car twice.
