William and Catherine in Canada, Day One- National War Memorial

The Duke and Duchess continued on from the airport to the National War Memorial, where they met with the Prime Minister of Canada and his wife, Laureen Harper. Prince William and Princess Catherine laid a wreath together on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. They then signed a book, and spoke to some war veterans. After that, they participated in a walkabout.
